Immunisation Clinic
‘For flu vaccinations please book in to ‘Flu Only’ clinics which will be held on 19th April, 1st May, 17th May and 5th June’
Please note: You must have a booking to attend one of our immunisation clinics. As of 1st january 2024, we will be unable to service walk-ins.
At the City of Holdfast Bay, we support the health and well-being of the community by providing a safe, accessible, and cost-effective immunisation service in order to prevent the spread of diseases.
Vaccines recommended for babies, children, adolescents, and adults on the National Immunisation Program (NIP)* are available at no cost for people with a current Medicare card. (*Except for shingles vaccine, some Medically at Risk (MAR) groups, and some catch-up programs. These are available through GP services.)
If you or your child is requiring a vaccine that is not a standard vaccine for your/their age group (for eg: extra vaccine for medically at risk or identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander) or as a catch-up, please contact CHB Immunisation team ahead of booking to enquire about availability of vaccine(s).
Immunisation clinics are held at the Brighton Masonic Hall, 1 Commercial Road Brighton:
· 3:00pm – 5:30 pm on the first Wednesday of every month
· 10:00am – 12:30 pm on the third Friday of every month
Please remember to bring your child’s health record (blue book), Medicare card, and any other relevant immunisation record. To save time on the day, we recommend that you bring a completed consent form. Consent forms can be downloaded here:

HOLDFAST BAY STAFF ONLY
Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a highly infectious viral illness caused by influenza A or B viruses.
Every year, the City of Holdfast Bay offers a free flu vaccine to all members of staff and volunteers.
Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself against the flu and makes it less likely you will suffer from serious illness.
