Technology Showcase: DIY Star Chart

Event Details

Using free online star charting software, you will create a Star Chart depicting the view of the night sky from a certain time and place. Then using free online graphic design software, you will be able to customise and decorate your chart as you choose. Perfect for capturing special moments like birthdays and anniversaries.

As this is a hands on session, basic computer skills are essential.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop with charger. It is essential that laptops are capable of connecting to the internet (free Wifi will be available for participants to use). For those unable to bring their own laptop, the library will have a limited number available on the day for public use.

This session is run as part of the City of Holdfast Bay Libraries Technology Showcase program.
