Learn about the night sky and win prizes as Astronomer Mary Adams talks about all things space!


Join us for a fascinating presentation from UniSA and Adelaide Planetarium Astronomer, Mary Adams. Sit back as Mary ignites your curiosity by talking about the night sky, with topics including; constellations, the lifecycle of stars, and the star's significance to Australia’s first peoples. Mary will then delve into one of the universe’s strangest objects – black holes. Q&A to follow.


Held in the function room of the Kauri Community and Sports Centre.


This presentation is recommended for adults and youth aged 14+. 

Drinks will be available for purchase on the night from the bar.


This event is part of the City of Holdfast bay libraries Science at the Bay program.
